ROB IS PROTECTING FAMILIES IN COURT LIKE NO OTHER CANDIDATE CAN

As an experienced probate attorney, Rob is protecting families in court. No prior public administrator has ever done this. No other current candidate can either.

private administrators are selling homes to associates without the knowledge of a person's loved ones

Some private administrators are selling the homes of people who die in Clark County to their associates at low, low prices. These associates then resell the properties months, weeks or even days later for as much as TWICE the original purchase price. This was often done before the families of the deceased could do anything about it.

how can they do this? don't they need court approval to sell homes?

In most probate cases, the executor/administrator is required to seek court approval of a sale of a home. This involves a bidding process that often raises tens of thousands more for the families. However, the private administrators here use a little known part of the law called the Independent Administration of Estates Act.

When granted this power, the administrators can sell the home of the estate without subjecting the sale to court approval and the bidding process. This is how these administrators have been getting away with selling homes quickly to associates at horribly low prices.

is anyone doing anything about this? ROB IS. AND, HE WILL CONTINUE THAT FIGHT FOR YOU.

Rob is fighting to stop non-family private administrators from using independent administration powers. Rob proposed laws that the Nevada Legislature passed in 2021 to help Rob fight against these independent administrations.

Rob's law now requires that these private administrators give notice to the Public Administrator. When Rob receives these notices, he files in court to either take over the administration or have the administrators stopped from getting independent power to sell homes.

At the same time, the office looks for family so they can decide how the administration should be handled. Rob's experience as a probate attorney makes this possible. No other candidate on this year's ballot can continue this fight for families.

MAKE SURE THE OFFICE CONTINUES THE FIGHT FOR FAMILIES IN COURT.
